Vision is more
than sight.

Vision is far more intricate than it seems. It's not just about seeing clearly it's about how the eyes and brain process and interpret the world. That's why even people with 20/20 eyesight can still have vision problems.

What is Behavioural Optometry?

In Behavioural Optometry and Vision Therapy we go beyond the 20/20 line focusing on how your eyes and brain work in harmony to interpret the world around you.

Behavioural Optometry

Behavioural optometry is a holistic approach looking at the relationship between the eyes, brain and body and how you process visual information. It incorporates the physical, neurological, and developmental aspects of vision.

Vision is the most dominant sense with over 80% of learning occurring through the visual system. Subtle issues can have a major impact on your efficiency and performance.

Once we know what parts of the visual system are not working efficiently, new visual skills can be learnt and developed regardless of age.

Vision Therapy

Vision therapy is a customised programme of neuro-visual activities designed to strengthen the connection between the eyes and the brain, improving processing skills.

Improving visual skills helps your child perform better at school, sports, and everyday activities, whilst boosting self-confidence.
