About Me

Hi, I'm Farzina Hashmani, founder of Insight Vision Therapy. I'm an Optometrist with over 10 years' experience, and my work has always been guided by a simple belief: vision is about so much more than seeing clearly.

More recently, I've developed a special interest in Behavioural Optometry and Vision Therapy, inspired by both my professional journey and my personal experience as a mum of three.

After seeing first-hand how underlying vision challenges can affect a child's learning, confidence, focus, and everyday life, I became passionate about understanding how the right support can make a meaningful difference. My own children's experiences opened my eyes to this area of care and inspired me to help other children feel more confident, capable, and ready to reach their full potential.

This journey led me to discover the British Association of Behavioural Optometrists, known as BABO, where I began to deepen my knowledge and further develop my work in this field.

The more I learnt, the more passionate I became about helping children and families access the right support. I realised how important vision can be in the way children process the world around them, learn, and grow in confidence.

At Insight Vision Therapy, my aim is to offer a warm, supportive, and personalised approach for every family. Whether you're a parent, teacher, or someone looking for guidance and support, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
